About the Event
Bye bye, Labubu—there's a new monster plushie in town! In this exciting machine sewing workshop, our artist will teach you how to sew your very own plush toy—the perfect creative project to deepen your sewing and construction skills while playing with repurposed fabric scraps and trims!
Starting with a template, students will style their plush toy with whatever fabrics, trims and sewing notions that inspire them. This intermediate project is fantastic exposure to the many possibilities for manipulating fabric and a great inspiration for thinking of textile materials in unconventional ways.
RG will provide sewing machines, sewing kits, and all materials for students, however, if you have your own machine or any materials you want to incorporate, we encourage you to bring them along with you.
Experience level: Previous sewing machine experience required
