About the Event
Reconsiderd Grooves with DJ TJ is meant to help people who aren’t musicians learn how to make electronic music using sounds from repurposed items. Over the course of three days participants will learn how to record, edit, and create music with these everyday objects. Each day builds on what they learned before, leading to the creation of unique music made entirely from found and reused materials. This series of workshops is COMPLETLY FREE and great for families and kids above 12 years old! This project was supported by the North Carolina Arts Council, a division of the Department of Natural and Cultural Resources, with funding from the National Endowment for the Arts.
