Summer Camp - From Scraps to Stories (8/3-8/7)

Dates & Time:  August 3rd-7th 9am-3 pm

From Scraps to Stories is a week-long creative reuse art camp for youth ages 12–15. Campers experiment with unconventional materials, explore storytelling through art, and build confidence through hands-on making. Using found objects and donated supplies, participants learn that creativity isn’t about perfection, it’s about curiosity and rethinking what’s possible.

*This camp was planned for ages 12–15 but is open to participants 6-18. The listed age range is a recommendation based on interest level and type of work.

What to bring: What should my student bring to camp? Here is a short list of what we encourage our campers to bring each day:

• Labeled reusable water bottle

• Lunch (Campers will have access to a microwave and refrigerator)

Campers will have access to their own locker daily to store their personal belongings. A snack will be provided daily.

Drop-Off & Pick-Up: Campers can be dropped off as early as 8:55 a.m. and must be picked up promptly at 3:00 p.m. They must be signed in and out daily. If, for any reason, you are running late, please notify me by calling the store at (336)763-5041.

Sadly, no transportation will be offered​.

Please note: All class registrations are non-refundable.

If a class must be cancelled due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances, you will be notified by email. In place of a refund, you will be offered the opportunity to attend a comparable class at a future date.
