Art, Artists, and Reconsidered Goods
Reconsidered Goods (RG) is thrilled to launch a new artist in residence program starting February 2024 thanks to funding by the North Carolina Arts Council, Spark the Arts Grant Program. RG invited local artists Stephanie Trippe, Kay Marion, and Neidy Perdomo to create work using repurposed and recycled materials. Each artist is provided space, a weekly stipend, and materials. At the end of the residency, artists design a free community program, event, exhibition, or performance to engage the public in their creative process. Thanks to Triad City Beat for featuring our new residency. RG is currently applying for funding to support more artists.
